It isn’t clear whether or not any of the agencies worried in the launch of Ocean’s new album have paid for or backed the filters. But Snapchat does make cash through such agreements, supplying brands filters for a particular time or vicinity.
If it's been paid for, then it'd be simply every other part of an album launch that has been surrounded in hype and mystery. But if Snapchat determined to make the filters itself then it might also be far from the primary organization looking to get in on the hype surrounding the album.
Snapchat’s filters are used by taking a photo after which swiping to the facet afterwards.
It doesn’t appear that customers have to be on the brand new model of the app to get the unique filters, due to the fact that they may be pushed out from the servers rather than requiring a complete update to the app itself.

Snapchat updated its app on 4 August this week, with a new feature referred to as “Geostickers”. The ones are special stickers that can be added on top of snap shots and are only to be had in particular places – for now, they'll just appear in “some of the most important cities inside the international”, the organisation stated.
